Putting it all together

Hi, so I'm trying to get the video onto my laptop still! in having my dad do it, because I've been dancing all week. If anyone knows how to edit please help me out!!

   My plan is to show the video with nice edits to it , and then show bloopers at the end! I'm on a time crunch, because I haven't started. I present in a few days!! I hope it won't be hard on myself!

My dad figured a new way to at least get the videos on my laptop aswell! I lost my laptop charger, so we are also in trouble for that reason. I know it will come out find.

The Video Day

I am so afraid to do the video on Thursday! It's a one shot get it good. I'm borrowing a video camera from my bestfriend to use, but I still don't have anyone to video which is very crucial right now!!! 

On the stage we will have two tables for both teams and a podium in the middle to read my questions off of! I'm so afraid something will go wrong!! I just hope everything will be smooth and cool.. Kaliyah " my assistant" will be doing the scor board and my commercial during the break and it's hilarious.(:

Kaliyah is also working on getting a microphone to put on my shirt, so you can hear me because she will have the microphone talking in the beginning. I can't wait to do my thing on Thursday!!! When the video is done my next project is to figure out how to put the video on my lap top too. On the picture it looks better than that. It will be closer to the wall, so it won't be half on the mirror, half not.(: My "tech" rehearsal during class was good and we fixed things that I never thought would be a problem, so I'm glad I fixed that before the actual videoing!

Power Point

I'm really excited, because I have made my PowerPoint and it is really cool! It is just like the Family Feud game board. I can have the same music, all my questions, and the "x" button and the "ding". 

           

I picked out my three "family" members on each team to go against each other. They will also have to coordinate in color like the original show! My assistant and I have made out a  script on what to say as well. The show will be awesome, I know it!!

We will also have two commercials to put in the answers for "Fast money". My next project to do is figuring out how to do the projector, to project on the board on the the screen. I am going to get with a teacher to figure that out!! I am shooting the video May 30th, so if anyone wants to help with video or anything please ask me at school and I will definitely let you!!

Making Questions for my Feud

This week I have been making my survey questions for Ashlyn's feud. It is really hard getting good questions that have multiple answer that could be the number 1- 8 answer. When I have the answers it's hard to figure out which answer will go for the number 1 answer or 2nd or third.

I am going to put my survey monkey up on edmodo sometime this week or next week and get my participants for my show. One time at church we did a Church Feud and the lady who set it up had this program to have the "dings" for the right answer and the "bongs" for the wrong answers. I'm going to ask her for the program, so we can have the full effect of the feud.It is going to be really fun and cool.

I love being able to be in charge of the videoing,participants,questions, and especially hosting and putting my own personality into the talking part! I know this is what I want to do, besides being on Goodmorning America, just like Robin Roberts. Making Ashlyn's Feud will be a great experience for me in the videoing business as well.

What is it like being a tv host?

All my life I've always wanted to be in front the camera. Whether its new anchoring or hosting it has always been my dream. For genius hour at my school I am tackling the difficulties hosting, surveying, and providing participants to create my own twist on Family Feud. Instead of calling the tv show Family Feud, I am naming the show Ash Ash's Feud. I will be providing entertainment and laughter for my television audience.

For example, I am using the TV show, Family Feud, to base my television

 show. I am starting with 2 teams going head to head in answer series due to survey of a certain number of people. After the scores are tallied whichever ever team wins will play in the Thunder Round!

I can't wait for the experience in videoing, and having so much fun in the process. I know that there will be hard tasks like surveying and placing rules, but it will show organization and patients. My ending product will be fun and entertaining to my studio audience!
